Journal
In week 3/4 we had to brain storm all the different Mise-en-scene we would use in our title sequence, we then to the best ideas that suit out film and put them in our story board which I have shown in another post.
We also had a lesson on foley sound this was to help us learn about sound design and how sound is very important to get your story across to the audience.
The foley sound will play a big part in our title sequence, we have already start planning some sound design now.

Making of Props
Making of Money
For our title sequence we had to create money, as that is our main theme behind our film. We will be buring the money in a briefcase which signifies all the money that Luther has been wasting all his life. We used £50 notes and got the the specific measurements of the a website that I have shown below. We then had to cut up plain paper to the size of the notes and to make them realistic we died them in tea this made it look like the notes were real.
This is how we created the money

Story Boards
Story Boarding
Before shooting we had to prepare our story board in order for us to know and visualise what we need to shoot for our title sequence. The story boards will consist of the different shots and mini clips which will in the end make our title sequence. Although we have drawn ideas down these ideas may change at any time if we see it fit to change.
These are the diagrams from our Story Boards.
Sound Track Research
Sound Track Research
Audio network was the website which helped our group find the best sound track for our title sequence it exceeded our expectations, as the sound track fits in very well with our sequence. We also had to make sure that our sound track copy right free, this was convenient as Audio network is a copy right free website
Typography/Font Research
Typography
research
To research what type of font we would use for our titles I used www.dafont.com. As a group we chose two fonts each and are going to do a survey to see what font is the best for our film.
These are some of my suggestions to our title fonts, I chose a more basic look towards the font as our movie comes across as simple and straight forward, and there isn't that much style, however I wanted to find a gangsta type of font which I fialed to find one that would suit our title sequence.

As a group we decided that we would use the font that Harry found as it was the best.
This was Harry’s suggestions
Harry thought that this font is good for our film because it is in uppercase and this shows professionalism, which our film represents. Our film is a thriller/gangster genre; this typography fits it because it is bold and undistorted which is popular for gangster movies such as Goodfellas, which is shown in the picture below.
