Hospital Scene
After showing our teacher the footage we shot from the second take, we agreed to improve the scene as some of it wasn't to standard we could produce, although it was better than the firtst take. We came up with different angles and different shots from which we would try to tell our story a little bit better, we also looked to improve my facial expressions and acting skills to make the scene more intense. We look forward to sharing our new footage and dicussing ways to improve through feedback.
These are some pictures from our third take.

Card Scene Take 2
New Card Scene
As we had decided to
film the scene again, because the first cards which we made didn't look
professional enough to put into our title sequence. This take was successful, we were happy with how the shoot went. The Cards looked much better, we kept the same setting which was the money and the poker set.
This are the images from the second shoot.

Hospital Scene Take 2
Hospital Scene
As a group we decided that our hospital scene which we shot
in science needed some improvement. As I am acting as Anton Lewis in our title sequence, I have to stand up and move around, this was to show that I was worried about my father. In our last
shoot we didn't consider this and by doing this it makes it a lot
more realistic and creates tension. In this shoot the facial expressions I use also express my emotions which make this part of the sequence look good this creates good
tension for the audience to enjoy. I use a very firm looking face which makes the
audience want to know what I am thinking about and planning to do.
To conclude this shoot was successful and better than our previous shoot. My acting was also a lot better as we were able to
capture good shots of my facial expressions.

London Scene
London Shoot
One of our key aims to our title sequence was to establish the location of our film. And our two initial ideas were Street signs and a map of london, showing sagnificant points. However as this didnt work out we chose to take footage of sagnificant points in London such as the London eye and Big Ben etc. The shoot was successful and I think we took some very good footage while we were there. This will make our title sequence even more clear now that we have established we the setting is.

Map Scene Take 1
Filming the maps
For our Map scene we met at Harry’s house to shoot the scene. We wanted to film it from a bird’s eye view to establish the scene and also to show the locations of the characters. We had planned to pan across the map slowly, also showing the Thames to ensure that the audience knows setting is London. We were unable to get the perfect shot and tried to do it freehand to see if this was a better solution we soon found out that by filming freehand it was very hard to keep the camera still and the end footage came out very shaky and blurry. We decided as a group that this footage was very unprofessional and wasn't good enough to put into our title sequence. As group we agreed that we still wanted to keep the idea of using a map as it sets the location and also establish the location which is very iconic for our film. We are currently thinking of new ideas, the one most likely at the moment is recording ourselves on Google maps, showing the significant locations.

Finishing of Cards in Photoshop
Editing Cards
Editing the cards on photoshop wasn't an easy task at all especially since we all hadn't used it that much to know what we were doing. Firstly we had to download samples of the cards we wanted and make sure that they had enough space for us to write the names of the starring characters.

We then looked at various fonts we could use to create a sense of continuity through out the sequence, we then found the font and edited it to the size and effects we wanted. Following this we had to research card sizes, not knowing that the all cards are different sizes we based it on our research and as the images will show, the measurements were incorrect we then had too try a number of times to get the right size, but we got there in the end.
When it came to printing we used photo paper to create the same effect as a normal card, we printed on normal paper first to make sure that it was the right size and then printed it on the photo paper, when printed the one of the cards had a different shade of white which we had to edit, but we had merged the images all together so we had to start that specific card again and merge it back in.
The cards look good not that they are finished, we look forward to shoot the scene again.
This is a sample of all the
cards we played with to
come up with the right size.

Blood/Burning Books Take1
Burning Books
During our Christmas Holidays my Group met up at Harry's house to shoot part of our title sequence, which on our story board is the book with blood dripping down it, to indicate that there is going to be a form of blood and books involved in our film, unfortunately we were not able to produce the right type of props for this idea. We then changed our idea to a burning book linking in with other ideas such as burning money. It took a couple of shoots to get it perfect but in the end we got there. The fire would often burn out as there wasn't enough oxygen to keep it burning we then had to keep a pen below the burning pages to maintain the fire which worked very well. The shot clip will have to be edited down because there are bits that shot the pen, this however shouldn't be a problem.
These are some of the pictures take from the day.

Card Scene Take 1
Our Second take, was during school hours, this time changing the scenery and props saw us go to Harry's house, who had exactly what we needed which was a dark room so the lighting is determined by ourselves, and pool table where our props will be laid out, props such as cards poker set and £50 notes to indicate our message through the various props.
We managed to shoot our clips and we were very pleased with our selves however going back to school our teachers we pleased with our efforts, but felt we could do a lot better with the cards as we had written on the cards free hand, they didn't think that this looked professional.
They then suggested to us we went back a shot that scene again but this time edit the cards in photoshop to make it look a bit more realistic, and professional.
We did face some problems during our shoot as our flip camera broke on us and we didn't take a substitute, we did manage to get a camera in Harry's house to shoot the rest of it, which in turn didn't look bad at all this them made our decision to carry on using this camera.
These are some of the images taken on the day.
Hospital Scene Take 1
As soon as we started the production we chose to shoot, what we thought would be the easiest scene out of all of them which one was of me in a hospital. For this scene I had to act as like I was at the hospital waiting for my father who had been recently shot however

Script of Title Sequence
Script
We had to write a mini script to complement the first scene we shot, which will be at the end of the sequence. I had to play the son while our teacher played the dying father. We will be adding effects and foley sounds to this sound clip.
Son- "Take it easy Dad"....
Dad- "The books"....
Son- "The books are done, dad. They're okay. I took car of it"......
Dad- "I'm Sorry".....
Son- "You don't need to be"!
Dad- "The Books,... I'm ... I'm Sorry"
Son- "NURSE"!!!
